PROFFICE is an innovative combination of cognitive ability test and work sample, the two personnel selection methods which provide greatest predictive validity, especially designed for the commercial and administrative professions. Within approx. 75 minutes applicants pass through all the departments in a virtual office, performing various tasks – from invoice verification and planning & organization, through to the analysis and prediction of market developments. This demands a systematic, structured approach, selecting relevant aspects from the wealth of information available. Candidates need to be able to identify and apply rules, to set deadlines and to carry out calculations without making errors. Compared with classic intelligence tests, the tasks are multilayered and closely resemble real situations, but the measurements attained are just as accurate.
PROFFICE provides a varied picture of the applicant's cognitive potential – with regard to general organization skills as well as specific skills relevant to a job, such as math, spelling and grammar, and linguistic abilities. Working styles such as the care and accuracy with which tasks are completed, are also measured. PROFFICE also supports professional and applicant-oriented personnel marketing (e. g. the layout can be adapted to suit an individual organization). PROFFICE is available in two levels: PROFFICE for simpler office and administrative activities and related vocational training, and PROFFICE_plus for more complex tasks and commercial trainees.
