The KSAO assessment (assessment of knowledge, skills, abilities, and other qualifications) forms an important basis for decision-making when making internal and external decisions of placement, when selecting trainee managers, or when planning and monitoring the success of personnel development measures. It therefore plays a key role in strategic HR planning.
S & F Personalpsychologie designs scientifically based job potential which are directly related to the organization's requirements by taking into account the principle of multimodality, the high psychometric quality of each specific instrument used, and optimal matching between the various processes. Structured interviews, scientific test instruments and practical simulation tasks are combined to ensure a comprehensive, reliable assessment of skills and abilities. The extensive range of requirement-related tasks also guarantees a high level of acceptance by the candidates.
Interviews on the job are held with the specific purpose of providing feedback. Candidates are informed of their strengths and of the areas where they have the need for further improvement and a specific training plan is worked out if appropriate, identifying goals and measures for individual development. This work takes full account of research findings regarding the changeability of personality traits. It has been shown that some characteristics can be improved successfully, while the successes in developing others are relatively small. Recommendations for improvement therefore only concentrate on those traits that can actually be improved.
